Essential functions of the Manager, Meetings & Events position:
Manage the planning and logistics for approximately 50 on-site and off-site meetings and events per year
Oversee all department programs, workflows, and projects
Assume responsibility for forecasting and setting budget allocations
Lead in negotiating standard contractual terms associated with meetings and events
Direct and communicate critical event details to internal and external stakeholders
Manage one coordinator-level staff person

The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree, certification or equivalent required in related field
Advanced knowledge of meeting/events planning
Ability to interact effectively, efficiently and professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as external contacts
Superior program/project management and organizational skills
This is not a remote position; the successful candidate will work in our headquarter office located in Rockville, Maryland. The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Inteleos will not sponsor applicants for work Visas), pass an extensive background screening which includes but is not limited to criminal, education, and skills assessment.
