The American Trucking Associations (ATA), the nation’s leading trade and lobby association representing the trucking industry, has an immediate opening for a Director of Business Development.
The incumbent in this role will be responsible for strategic direction and performance of ATA and its council’s non-dues revenue programs. The position has supervisory responsibilities of the Director, Exhibits and Sponsorships; Manager, Event Development Administration; and Senior Account Manager. This position works closely with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. If you are a great communicator, problem-solver, and team player we would like to speak with you!
Required Education: BS/BA Degree in Business Administration, marketing, sales or related field plus minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience with a proven record of meeting or exceeding goals required. Experience in events and sponsorships as well as working with contracts desired but not a requirement. Prior experience in Sales Management preferred but not required.
