ASIS International, a professional membership organization located in Alexandria, VA with 35,000 global members seeks a dynamic Senior Manager, Business Systems & Analytics.
The Senior Manager, Business Systems & Analytics is responsible for the planning, production, development, integration and maintenance of critical business systems that comprise our association management ecosystem (AMS, LMS, CRM, E-commerce, etc.) He/she will serve as SME for connecting to/from this ecosystem in order to maintain data integrity and business needs. They will also coordinate and manage projects related to the ongoing development, upgrades, maintenance, use, training, reporting and analytics of these systems. In this role, the incumbent will lead the AMS DevOps team and interact and collaborate with key stakeholders involved in the usage of these systems as well as focus on overall data governance across all platforms. They also need to be analytical in approach; able to analyze and compare technical solutions, evaluate and proactively manage the impact of new solutions within the ecosystem, and advise non-technical users on technology solutions. Additionally, they will need to be able to analyze existing business process for improvements as well keep abreast of trends and advise the business as appropriate. Additionally, this position assists the infrastructure team related to the security and maintenance of those critical applications hosted or co-hosted directly by ASIS in supporting the overall infrastructure of the organization.
We are seeking candidates who possess a bachelor's degree in a technology communications related field from a four-year college or university, or a combination of education and experience which demonstrates the necessary skills and abilities required for the position. At least four years' experience managing technology product/project development is required, including at least 2 years managing staff or teams. Should have experience managing, utilizing and supporting netFORUM, an association management system (AMS). Seven+ years’ experience in all areas described and a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) certification would be ideal.
We are looking for an individual with the ability to communicate and listen well, including writing clear and concise instructions for non-technical users and to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. This position requires excellent project management as well as organizational and interpersonal skills to work with a variety of people, at all levels of the organization, and on multiple projects. Must understand web technologies and how they are used to meet an organization’s strategic goals. Required computer skills include 3 years’ experience managing (netFORUM) including SOP’s, training, report writing and query building. Preference given for experience with netFORUM integrated systems like HigherLogic, MCI-WyndhamJade and Crowdwisdom; Power user / expert capabilities in project management tools and processes.
