Member Service Specialist

The American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) is seeking to fill a Membership Service Specialist position. This new position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to state affiliate leadership in addition to other assigned duties to support membership recruitment, retention, and engagement plans. This entry-level position will work primarily with respiratory therapists throughout the United States and has direct communication with members. Potential candidates must possess excellent communication skills, seek to improve data quality, and demonstrate strong problem solving and time management skills with a proactive approach.

AARC is looking for a Membership Service Specialist to:

• Be the initial point of contact for state affiliate leadership in response to announcements, questions, and other customer service items
• Process membership applications and other database changes
• Monitor online communities to confirm compliance with policies and help identify opportunities for additional engagement
• Prepare reports and track outcomes for a variety of initiatives
• Support special projects and events
