The National Community Pharmacists Association is looking for an exceptional Graphic Designer to work in a two-person department to assist on projects including a monthly magazine, advertising, convention related materials, membership campaigns and video projects. The successful candidate will be bright, ambitious, and possess an impressive portfolio that demonstrates a solid foundation and a flair for creativity. A good understanding and genuine passion for all design media is a must.
The candidate should possess the ability to take direction and manage assigned projects that include digital assets for print, presentations, and video production. The candidate should have strong design fundamentals and be able to see projects through from concept to completion with a professional and enjoyable attitude. Most importantly, the Graphic Designer should not only be passionate about design but also have the ability to take constructive criticism and incorporate feedback.

The ideal candidate will need the following:
BA/BFA in design or equivalent training
Proficiency with Mac platform required
Strong knowledge of Adobe CS5. Knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Motion or Aftereffects is a bonus.
Ability to multi-task and consistently hit deadlines
Ability to coordinate and prioritize assigned projects and tasks with minimal supervision is required
Ability to brainstorm effective concepts and be a creative problem solver
Self-motivated and well organized
Great interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong technical and production skills
Pleasant demeanor and a can-do attitude with the ability to take constructive criticism
Keen interest in design trends and new technologies
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and help out in all phases of the design process
