The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, with Headquarters on North Michigan Avenue, is seeking an Associate Director.
Reporting to the Executive Director, this position will focus on managing the revenue generating centers of the Academy, including CLE programs and publications. The successful candidate will have a strong marketing background and will develop and implement programs to ensure retention of current Fellows. Working with the leadership, this position helps market the Academy for the purposes of obtaining and supporting a network ion external Academy sponsors.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Oversees the Academy’s CLE program and CLE accreditation process.
Develops communications and social media strategies.
Supports marketing efforts for current and potential Fellows through written communications, collateral piece creation, and other projects
Identifies and develops sponsorship strategies and goals.
Works with leaders to develop marketing plan for publications and oversees publication program.
Prepares financial reports for areas under the AD’s purview.
Assists the Executive Director on relevant strategic issues.
Ability to handle multiple projects with limited supervision or direction.
Strong written and oral communications skills are essential.
Understands project budget development and reporting.
Familiarity with database management and computer literate.
Association management and meeting planning experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience required.
