POSITION: Coordinator Member Services
DEPARTMENT: Membership and MO Services
REPORTS TO: Director Member Services
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this position is to provide overall support to ACEC’s membership department, while providing exemplary customer service to members, prospects, and Member Organizations.
Update and maintain the ACEC member database daily. Input new member firm employees, update existing records, update all ACEC committees and MO leadership annually. Ensure updates are consistent on ACEC website.
Provide quarterly Membership Recruitment & Retention Reports that show the growth of member firms and member employees by Member Organizations (MOs).
Create and disseminate annual Pay Direct Statements and Renewals. Assist with Pay Direct collections. Proactively take steps to secure additional employee names for the database, to enhance ACEC’s ability to target market programs to appropriate personnel (database mining).
Support ACEC’s annual Member Certification and Renewal Process. Provide customer service to the MOs and members with timely responses.
Support MO billing, reporting and reconciliationprocess. Data input of new prospects/leads.
Assist with the assembly and distribution of membership recruitment and retention materials to Member Organizations (MOs).
Oversee the Affiliate Membership. Work with membership team to implement affiliate member strategy for recruitment and retention, including invoicing, renewal, collections. Take an active lead in searching for affiliate prospects. Review other associations, publications and event websites in the engineering space to identify prospects.
Provide the Trusts with Quarterly Reports. Communicate monthly adds/drops from membership. Assist in reconciliation of trust members and ACEC members. Update member firm records to identify those firms with Life/Health, Business Insurance, and Retirement Trusts.
Provide switchboard duty as scheduled.
Other duties as assigned.

Competency in effective use of NetForum. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Competency in Microsoft Office software.
