The Association of Legal Administrators is looking to hire a contract employee to work approximately 20 hours per week assisting with our certification program. Learn more about the Certified Legal Manager (CLM) program here: https://www.alanet.org/education/certification
Position responsibilities include:
Provide administrative support for the CLM program including:
Processing candidate applications and recertification documentation
Coordinating CLM testing and reporting
Maintaining certification related records
Provide accreditation processing for ALA education including:
Evaluating and assigning CLM competencies to all ALA HQ and chapter education
Provide administrative support for ALA Approved Providers including:
Approved Provider testing
Approved Provider status and renewals
Experience providing administrative support with certification programs. Business writing, editing, and proofreading skills required.
Ability to independently draft correspondence, format documents, design spreadsheets, proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical and spelling errors.
Proficiency with standard office equipment and technology, including MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to learn multiple software applications and web applications knowledge. Experience with association management software such as iMIS.
Ability to work independently, as well as a member of a team. Experience with complex project coordination required.
Strong interpersonal skills needed to handle sensitive and confidential situations, follow instructions effectively and provide accurate information with courtesy and tact. Must have a customer service approach to provide a good impression of the Association both on the telephone and in person.
