ARRS is a medical professional society located in Loudoun County (Ashburn/Lansdowne). We are seeking full-time Membership Coordinator to become an integral part of our Membership Team. This individual will be a primary liaison to our membership and customer base. The Membership Team supports the activities of ARRS members, journal subscribers, meeting registrants, and customers. The right candidate is a professional who is motivated and detail-oriented and likes to contribute by providing exceptional data and administrative support. We need an individual who can work in a customer call center and is adept at written communications. Daily responsibilities include working with physicians regarding applying and maintaining their membership including providing information regarding member benefits, login prompts, and website navigation. This position has primary responsibility for processing applications, renewals, registrations, refunds, and information updates.
The ideal candidates will have:
2-4 years related work experience (non-profit preferred).
Ability to type 55+ wpm.
Proficiency in MS Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook.
Ability to work with accounting batches.
The communication skills needed to work with physicians and association professionals.
Excellent grammar and proofreading skill.
An attention for detail and ability and the ability to multi-task.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Experience with iMIS is a plus.
Desire for some minimal travel on an annual basis.
