SNMMI's Research & Discovery (R&D) Department is seeking a Program Manager for their rapidly expanding, exciting program. R&D is dedicated to facilitating molecular imaging in clinical trials (PET/CT scans). The program interacts with major pharmaceutical companies and equipment vendors, top academic universities and medical facilities, and government entities such as NCI and FDA.
This position will work with the Director of R&D to achieve the strategic goals of the society. This includes staffing committees of domain-area experts, creating and maintaining records and databases, coordinating educational sessions at national meetings, assisting with training programs, and website maintenance.
The ideal candidate will minimally have a BA/BS Degree in a scientific field of study. 2-5 years experience in a medical/imaging/pharmaceutical field is a plus but not required. Must have ability to work independently, with little direction, and initiate new programs and activities; excellent planning and organization skills; demonstrated strong communication and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to think strategically and synthesize complex business/financial data. Potential for rapid advancement and increased responsibilities as the program expands.
