What we're looking for: A talented professional to guide the operations of the Branding & Design and Content Strategy teams. The Assistant Director: Creative Services oversees content strategy and graphic design efforts to contribute to the development of long-term strategic marketing initiatives and audience-specific integrated marketing and communication plans for the organization. The position leads integration and implementation of the RSNA brand across the organization. The position also provides leadership for content, graphic design and social media functions.

What you'll do:
Develop content strategy, content marketing initiatives and overall governance for content use across all channels at RSNA. Align content to meet user needs and influence behaviors for a diverse customer base.
Provide research-supported input on key marketing messages that align with the goals, target audiences and brand.
Ensure consistent use and alignment with RSNA marketing priorities.
Ensure quality, accuracy, consistency, timeliness and adherence to RSNA brand in all print materials.
Oversee RSNA social media strategy and presence. Direct social media efforts in support of organizational marketing priorities and journals marketing efforts. Use social media as a tool to gather customer insights.
Oversee creative process from concept to completion. Ensure all content and design work supports overall user engagement goals.
Contribute to the implementation of marketing plans, programs and/or projects, including creation of strategy, development of program benchmarks and analysis of program outcomes.
Supervise the Branding & Design and Content Strategy teams. May supervise freelance writers, content creators and/or graphic designers.
Lead, train, and develop team members.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications. journalism or branding.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills with acute attention to detail. Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
Minimum of 7 10 years of professional experience in a marketing environment in a supervisory role.
Experience leading and/or working with a graphic design team.
Successful history of developing effective content strategies and content marketing plans.
Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
Ability to communicate effectively to achieve buy-in and consensus.
Excellent strategic thinking abilities.
Strong track record of building and leading effective teams.
Highly creative and resourceful.
Ability to lead and inspire creativity among content creators and graphic designers and serve and function effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Strong project management skills with the ability to assess processes and implement change to improve quality and efficiency.
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to an organization's mission.
