The Executive Director works closely with the Board of Directors to lead The Utah Assisted Living Association's efforts to promote the concept of assisted living throughout the State of Utah. To increase knowledge and improve skills of our members. To assist regulatory bodies in defining standards as they apply to the management of senior housing.
The Executive Director:
Attends all board meetings and works to implement action items from the board
Actively works to increase association membership through marketing, outreach, and networking
Coordinates and takes minutes at all association meeting and events
Works with the association treasurer to ensure that invoices and paid in a timely fashion
Maintains updated and accurate list of association membership
Maintains Constant Contact email database and drafts and publishes emails to UALA membership
Assists the board in planning UALA's annual membership conference and golf tournament
Completes other assignments as assigned by the Board of Directors
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in email and basic Microsoft Office software
Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks with minimal oversight
Familiarity with the Senior Assisted Living industry preferred but not required
Ability to work from a home office
Telecommuting is allowed.
