The Manager of Global Education supports setting the ongoing ACTE Global education strategy, including management, development and delivery of ACTE educational offerings.
Major Functions & Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Manager of Global Education is to oversee the theming and development of educational concepts, content and curation, delivering consistency and quality of content for all ACTE events, research and educational products:
Create, distribute and analyze membership surveys related to educational content at a minimum of annually, sharing results throughout the organization for use in determining research or content topics, and sponsorship opportunity development;
Identify and evaluate relevant content for target audiences, incorporating membership and industry insights;
Develop and execute a virtual strategy to include a pre-determined frequency of virtual education sessions and online training opportunities for members;
Coordinate resources for development and execution of Global Summit programming, private events, virtual educational sessions and research projects;
Develop a sponsorship offering in coordination with Business Development, to monetize ACTE education by creating content/sessions for sponsors own events;
Select and recruit qualified content leaders and facilitators;
Conceptualize and deliver new and innovative education formats;
Write and review educational content for promotional materials;
Develop and manage the US Regional Council, including recruitment and management of volunteer education committees;
Oversee on-site execution of educational programming;
Develop and maintain templates and guides for ACTE regional staff to utilize for event planning within their regions;
Support ACTE regional staff with guidance and support on education strategy and execution for local and/or private events based on resource requirements
This position reports to the Director of Global Engagement and may include additional responsibilities related to the association’s educational strategy and portfolio of global educational offerings.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of program management and educational content experience, with a demonstrated understanding of adult learning styles. S/he is also an excellent communicator with exceptional writing skills. The position requires outstanding organizational talents, a demonstrated proficiency for managing multiple projects, an intellectual curiosity for emerging tools and technologies, and an entrepreneurial spirit that encourages new and creative ideas. Candidates must be able to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%). Industry knowledge, prior international business experience, and educational development are preferred.
