UPCEA, the leading association for professional, continuing, and online education professionals in higher education, seeks a tech-savvy, detail-oriented team member to support its programs through high-level administrative tasks. These tasks include, but are not limited to, course registration, course development project management activities, and program support for a growing portfolio of online professional development activities. As an organization focused on the professional and personal growth of our members and the individuals they serve, the right candidate will have numerous opportunities to gain skills and contribute as a team member. A two-year minimum commitment is sought. This full time position reports to the VP of Online and Strategic Initiatives and may receive direction from the Deputy CEO & Chief Learning Officer.
Exemplify our association’s history of superior experiences through excellent customer service to internal and external constituencies via front-line support for various member-focused events and activities.
Support operational aspects of the Association’s professional development program: such as coordinate course content, maintain deliverables utilizing project management software (ex: Teamwork), facilitate course registrations, execute post-course survey or evaluation efforts.
Conduct bi-weekly/monthly program assessments and analysis reports.
Facilitate contracts for course developers and execute actions based on those agreements (which might include communicating with speaker/talent assistants, initiating payments, soliciting status reports on projects, etc.)
Schedule meetings for subject matter experts and instructional teams and as needed
Attend recurring planning and volunteer leader meetings as needed/assigned, (e.g. professional development committee meetings) for the purpose of representing staff and/or note-taking.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing professional networks; participating in professional societies.
Other duties in support of UPCEA’s online-focused events/activities as well as administrative support for UPCEA’s VP of Online and Strategic Initiatives.
Qualified candidates will hold a postsecondary degree or credential relevant to the responsibilities listed with 2-3 years of relevant professional experience.
