The Continuing Medical Education (CME) Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Continuing Medical Education.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Main point of contact for ASCRS members/attendees to field phone and email inquiries regarding the Annual Meeting ASCRS programming, ASCRS educational activities, CME/CE certificates and Clinical Affairs
Create, distribute and maintain education program faculty documents, i.e. invitation letters and subsequent communications, hotel and travel reservations, audio/visual forms, honorarium and expense reimbursement forms, etc.
Data entry of faculty conflict of interest and financial statements; prepare complete list for inclusion within the final print or electronic program
Distribution of attendee feedback surveys for all CME programming
Timely compilation and reporting of attendee evaluations
Timely completion and delivery of CME/CE certificates to attendees
Process all CME supplement claims, including grading, delivery of CME certificates, and import of credits into membership database
Import all credits earned across ASCRS directly and jointly provided CME into membership database
Assist with formal CME activity file maintenance as instructed by Director of CME
Data entry and maintenance within ASCRS Annual Meeting conference database
Maintain all ASCRS Clinical Committee and Education Committee rosters and term dates for internal use
Update website listings for all ASCRS Clinical Committees and Education Committees
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor and department head
Back-up for Clinical Education team members
Experience, knowledge, and skill requirements:
MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task, organizational and time management skills, strong communication skills- written and verbal
Experience with continuing medical education preferred
