NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association is a telecom trade association with the goal of ensuring that rural Americans receive broadband services on par with those available to urban residents—and at a reasonable cost. NTCA members deliver high-quality communications services in the most sparsely populated, highest-cost rural areas of the country.
We are looking for a Digital Communications Manager to join our communications department. This position will report to the VP of Strategic Communications and will play an integral role developing the associations digital messaging strategy across a variety of platforms. As our Digital Communications Manager, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with NTCA staff and external contributors to plan, coordinate and edit digital content.
What will you do?
Writing policy recaps and other NTCA news for digital communications platforms and coordinating and editing content from other contributors.
Coordinating topical webcasts including choosing topics, supporting speakers, and overseeing promotions and production with outside vendors and internal support staff.
Overseeing news aspects of the NTCA website and mobile app by identifying and seeking opportunities to improve user interfaces and content features.
Envisions and executes plans to create Association podcast in support of strategic communications goals.

The ideal candidate will have the following position requirements:
Understanding and experience in digital and multimedia communication methods
Strong writing and content planning skills
Developed knowledge of web publishing best practices and current trends in digital media
Knowledge of web content management system (Drupal), email technologies, mobile app platforms and live media technologies (Webex and BlueSky)
Project and vendor management experience
Undergraduate degree in Journalism, Communications or related coursework and 5-7 related work experience
