The American Urological Association (AUA), the premier urologic association providing support to the urologic community, is currently searching for an Exhibits Manager in the Industry Relations Department. In General This position is responsible for the management of all sales, projects and activities related to AUA’s annual meeting exhibition while supporting all efforts of the exhibit contractor, ExpoAnswers. Leads the sales effort for exhibits for all year-round programs. Supervises the Exhibits Coordinator. Typically The individual in this position will: - Be responsible for developing and maintaining service support strategies that increase the exhibitor’s experience
- Play an active role in obtaining industry prospects while qualifying sales leads for updates to our exhibitor contacts database while emphasizing exhibitor retention best practices
- Lead the selling process for new opportunities outside the traditional exhibit sales (i.e. Skills Enhancement Workshops, Business Bistro, Skills Challenges, etc.)
- Be accountable for leading the sales process for exhibit opportunities outside the annual meeting and meeting agreed upon sales targets
- In conjunction with ExpoAnswers, AUA’s conference vendors, Sr. Manager IRE and the Convention Operations Manager, develops and updates the Exhibitor Service Kit, Exhibitor Directory, Exhibitor Prospectus, internal sales reports, exhibitor bulletins and other assigned communications
- Serve as liaison with internal departments – i.e. MarCom, Membership, Convention & Meetings - to ensure satisfactory fulfillment of exhibit projects.
- Place exhibitors in the S&T hall using the software platform A2Z
- Assist exhibitors in connecting with AUA exhibit vendors; provides email and phone support to confirmed and prospective exhibitors who seek assistance complying with AUA exhibitor rules and regulations, and to secure exhibitor services
- Oversee and lead AUA’s participation in Exhibitor Advisory Committee, open exhibitor meetings and future city site visits
- Act as the primary AUA contact with exhibitors and offers professional and excellent customer service
