Overall Purpose The Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) is seeking a Membership & Volunteer Coordinator to play an integral role in the management of the membership and volunteer daily operations. For membership, this will include support of onboarding, recruitment, retention and engagement activities. For volunteers, this will include support of our volunteer recruitment, onboarding and recognition activities. He or she will collaborate with team members to support the development and maturation of the membership and volunteer programs and services, as well as supporting goals in ACMP’s Strategic Plan. In addition, he or she will provide exceptional customer service to current and potential members. A successful candidate must have strong organizational skills and be a resourceful team-oriented self-starter capable of executing several tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced virtual environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a track record for attention to detail are essential. Above all, the Membership and Volunteer Coordinator will maintain a focus on the mission and values of ACMP. The ACMP team is virtual but is very connected on a daily basis. It is critical that this individual can keep pace be self-motivated and able to work remotely. Essential Job Functions - Overall:
- Support and implement the daily operations of the ACMP membership and volunteer functions
- Collaborate with team to plan for membership and volunteer activities at conferences
- Assist with research, planning and execution applicable strategic projects
- Prepare reports and dashboards to share with leadership and BOD Members
- Develop, monitor and aggregate survey data to help inform decision making
- Assist in supporting chapters with membership and volunteer guidance, training, etc.
- Assists in supporting the Membership, Components & Volunteer Relations Leader with other duties, as needed, for the membership, chapters and volunteer programs.
- Website & Database Support:
- Assisting with database maintenance and improvements by completing database tasks, including completing updates to member records, reviewing database periodically, etc.
- Maintains content on the membership and volunteer sections of the website for accuracy and the latest updates.
- Communications & Customer Service:
- Manage incoming email, mail and telephone inquiries for membership and volunteer related issues
- Collaborate with team to plan campaigns and communications to recruit or encourage renewals of members/volunteers
- Complete outreach calls and emails to members to encourage renewal
- Assisting with updating the Customer Service Manual on processes that ensure effective and efficient member and customer service.
- Committee Leadership & Support:
- Support membership and volunteer committees.
- Maintains and updates rosters for various committees and task forces, monitor memberships to ensure volunteers are active members.
- Plays an active role in volunteer recruitment and filling of committees
- Prepare for volunteer trainings and committee meetings, as needed
