The President & CEO will lead all aspects of organizational operations including: collaborating with the Board of Directors; spearheading plans and efforts to secure funding and cultivate key strategic partnerships; maintaining operational excellence; committing to the growth and professional development of staff; and expanding the organization’s capacity upward to include additional troop participants and inspired volunteers. The President and CEO will lead the team that supports girls emotionally through a sisterhood of friends, mentors, and committed volunteers. With the guidance of the Executive Director, GSSC will prepare girls for the 21st century through STEM programs, academic support, consulting on future studies, career planning, and leadership training.
The President and CEO will have three major areas of focus: Vision and Leadership: Ensure the well-being of girls and the girl scout experience through visible and charismatic leadership with all constituents. Financial Management and Sustainability: Develop and execute fundraising strategies to protect the financial future of the organization. Community Relations and Brand Stewardship: Raise the visibility of GSSC in the community by proactively cultivating and stewarding community relationships to increase awareness and emphasize the significance of the GSSC mission.
? Strong leadership skills in an executive position for greater than 3 years
? Experience developing growth opportunities in membership and contributions
? Exhibited dedication to furthering the development of youth programs and girls as leaders today and tomorrow within the region
? Demonstrated record of creating and managing budgets of $5M +, organizational finances, and programmatic activities
