General Scope of Responsibility
The newly hired Partnerships & Sales Manager will manage and grow an existing partnerships program that consists of companies that invest with NSCS in order to get their products/services/programs in front of our 150,000 active members/100,000 parents/225,000 alumni. This exciting opportunity will provide you with the chance to boost the performance of an existing program and develop it through its potential and beyond.
The Partnerships & Sales Manager will join a high-performing organizational team of 17 full-time staff and will sit on the marketing membership team made up of five full-time professionals located across the nation.
The two primary objectives of this position are:
Sustain and grow NSCS partnerships and non-dues revenue.
Manage the successful execution of partnership deliverables.
The Manager's performance breakdown should roughly be:
80% of their time spent on prospecting, outreach, converting and forecasting
20% of their time dedicated to tracking, account management and internal planning and communication to ensure successful delivery of current partner deliverables.
Prospect identification, qualification, and personalized outreach.
Structure and negotiate winning partnership agreements/deals
Assess current partners and develop new opportunities to upsell them
Develop and manage a sales funnel commensurate with organizational goals.
Manage and track dashboard to include logging all outreach, received and expected revenue, outstanding invoices, revenue share, forecasting, and partner deliverable calendar
Ensure a thorough understanding of NSCS, its value and products
Spearhead the development of sales materials in partnership with your marketing colleagues
Ensure internal stakeholders deploy on time against current partner deliverables and expectations
Craft contracts and invoices
Forecast, plan and perform to bimonthly goals.
3-6 years of relevant professional experience with a proven track record of sales and account management
History of meeting and exceeding revenue goals
Understanding of the sales cycle with an unwavering comfort to “cold” emailing/outreach
Ability and comfort to operate outside of structured investment tiers/packages
Exceptional communication skills, verbal and in writing, and ability to build strong relationships
Impeccable self-motivation and time management to include managing your own schedule.
