Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

SUMMARY:

The Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist (SARS) is responsible for the monthly import of files containing service charge data from 119 chapters into NECA’s association management system (AMS). This role reconciles service charge revenue remitted by the Chapter with the amount calculated by the AMS.

Service charge revenue accounts for about 50 percent of NECA’s total annual revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REPSONSIBILTIES:

• Uploads the monthly data for each Chapter’s members in the AMS.
• Transmits monthly service charge reports to the Chapters and highlights variances from the prior reporting cycle.
• Coordinates with the various Chapters concerning their over or underpayments and assists them with reporting questions.
• Works with chapters to ensure that they are sending reports in the proper format with all the information needed
• Suggests ideas to improve the overall process.
• Provides timely and appropriate response to all communication, specifically email and telephone inquiries

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Due to the COVID19 pandemic, this position is currently working remote with occasional required trips into the headquarters office.
• General office work environment, some travel may be required.
