This is an exciting opportunity to lead a thriving, visionary REALTOR® association including the Multiple Listing Service, the for-profit organization providing services to multiple boards in the larger area. The association membership includes approximately 5,000 real estate professionals in 30+ counties with approximately 6,000 subscribers to the MLS. The CEO is responsible to both board of directors for the effective leadership of the organizations. The CEO recommends and participates in forming and implementing the mission, goals, objectives, policies and procedures. Through leadership and management, the CEO achieves strategic, productive performance, and constructive growth. Oversees all matters relative to staff, programs and activities. Promotes the staff culture and core values.
Provides ongoing strategic guidance to the BODs in forming and executing strategic plans to ensure critical and relevant services to members and the industry.
Serves as the chief public relations officer for the organizations and is responsible for relationships with the news media, ensuring the President of each board if the chief spokesperson for the respective organizations.
Responsible for sound fiscal operations and day-to-day administrative.
Oversees the Foundation and its activities to ensure sound operation in keeping with the goals, plans and policies established by the BODs.
Ensures the real estate school offers relevant programs that meet the needs of the membership.
Manages services offered through the MLS to meet member needs and provide state of the art capabilities.
Ensures training and technical support for members for MLS.
Actively improves MLS to maintain financial viability to promote growth and to ensure MLS remains pre-eminent technology resource for real estate within the jurisdiction and beyond.
Maintains and builds effective and positive relationships with public and private entities to enhance the position and status of the organizations.
Builds and maintains effective working relationships with brokers and affiliate leaders, local board members and association executives served by MLS, chamber of commerce, real estate related organizations and the general community as well as the Oklahoma Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
Builds and maintains relationships with state and local officials, appointed leadership of the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission and other appropriate state officials.
Maintains and builds positive working relationships with industry related associations.
