The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as an Associate Content Marketing Manager.
We are looking for a talented content creator with strong writing skills who thinks strategically, understands digital media channels, and innovates regularly. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.
As a vital member of the AGC Marketing team directly reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position will have a hands-on role in developing effective marketing communications and campaigns, updating content on AGC's web properties, and supporting the association's overall branding needs.
Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
Create inspirational, informative and engaging content covering email, on-page content, bite-sized content and social posts, direct mail, and other marketing collateral.
Assist with the implementation of campaigns across multiple channels by ensuring all deliverables are on track for completion according to deadlines, and creative is in accordance to campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
Track and report on campaign KPIs to ensure that campaigns are meeting or exceeding goals, and make recommendations if they are not.
Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content, and keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends.
Work collaboratively with members of the broader marketing team to hand off creative assets, copy and work closely with internal stakeholders to continue to innovate/evolve based on response.
Prioritize and schedule workload effectively while collaborating with multiple departments simultaneously, anticipating problems, and adjusting the allocation of resources and time accordingly
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:
Exercise knowledge and appreciation for what is required to plan, create, and execute digital campaigns across email, search, and social platforms.
Strong writing experience.
Solid understanding of the B2C or B2B market.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Highly organized and able to quickly prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
Experience in supporting campaigns that use a variety of marketing channels and communications methods.
Collaborative, upbeat work ethic where you can take ownership of projects and have fun.
An energetic self-starter who is always looking to expand their knowledge and capabilities in digital marketing.
A passion for and understanding the many facets of marketing is highly desired.
A minimum of 2 years of working in a marketing or communications role.
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communications preferred
Telecommuting is allowed.
