The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) is seeking a Certification Coordinator to support the certification and recertification programs. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, service oriented and is interested in owning these programs and working with a team to take the certification program to the next level.
The next PHTA Certification Coordinator is looking to be a part of a positive professional culture, is a team player and is ready to get back into an office environment on a flexible schedule. This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Member Programs & Services and will work with the team to achieve department goals.
Certification Coordinator Responsibilities
Responsibility for all PHTA certification programs, with exception to CPO
Oversight of recertification process – review applications, track data, manage audits, and troubleshooting, correspondence with member services team
Support certification analysis, list management and cross promotion ideas in conjunction with the marketing department
Support Senior Director with applicable certification vendors
Maintain and update certification content on the website, as necessary
Provide administrative support for certification program including data entry, certification, and recertification processing
Manage certificate printing and certification packet mailing
Manage in-person exam sites, support education partners, chapters and affiliates for certification and certificate program logistics
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Willingness and ability to travel to trade shows, meet with members, attend industry events, and stay abreast of industry certification and corresponding education programs

EXPERIENCE
Detail oriented and ability to multi-task required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required
Previous association experience is preferred
Project management skills preferred
Previous experience with certification platforms is preferred.
A. preferred or relevant experience
Non-profit certification responsibility a plus
Experience in aquatics industry a plus
