The International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) is the leading organization for the industry that keeps workers safe. We unite global experts in the field of worker protection to influence and set standards, inform government action, and educate all about the health and safety of workers around the world.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator. The Operations Administrator is responsible for the coordination of operations, procedures, and resources to increase organizational effectiveness, as well as provide support for our mission of keeping workers safe. The Operations Administrator reports to the Senior Manager of Operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who is well versed in technology and office operations, with general finance/accounting knowledge, and experience with nonprofit associations.
Accounting (40% of time)
- Support the Senior Manager of Operations in bookkeeping and budgeting procedures
- Create and update databases and records for financial information, personnel and other data
- Submit reports and prepare proposals and presentations as needed
Office Operations (40% of time)
- Coordinate activities throughout the company to ensure efficiency and maintain compliance with company policy
- Partner with vendors for office systems
- Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls and other forms of correspondence
- Track and replace office supplies as necessary to avoid interruptions in standard front office procedures
- Assist colleagues whenever there is an opportunity to do so
Membership & Events (20% of time)
- Support the Senior Manager of Operations in member events (both virtual and in person)
- Interface with incoming member requests
Skills & Competencies:
- Integrity – always in compliance with policies, procedures, privacy and ethical standards
- The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision in a hybrid office environment.
- Technology proficient – experience with Microsoft Office products is a plus
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience working in a nonprofit/association environment.
- Experience with MemberClicks Association Management System and QuickBooks Online a plus.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with association staff, board members, and construction industry personnel.
- Education: High school or equivalent. College or Associates degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time annual salary plus benefits
