The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), a trade association that serves the global temperature-controlled supply chain industry, is seeking an energetic, organized, and self-motivated individual to join our growing, global team. This exciting position will support day-to-day membership operations including: membership retention and recruitment efforts, onboarding of new members, continuous improvement of member records and data as well as provide exceptional service to association members. Candidate will work closely with marketing, events, and international staff to drive association membership growth and satisfaction. Reports to: Senior Vice President, Global Programs & Insights
POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES
- Manage the onboarding of new members including processing membership applications, sending new member welcome letter and kit, follow up to ensure member satisfaction.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of our database and customer records and proactively resolve issues.
- Support international members throughout their online experience, including account/profile management, membership applications, renewals, and collecting demographic information.
- Continuously improve the customer service experience by evaluating and re-designing processes, monitoring and analyzing results and implementing changes.
- Manage and implement the dues renewal process in collaboration with accounting staff
- In collaboration with Marketing & Communications team, review and update membership related webpages as needed to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date
- Coordinate with prospective members to get information entered into the database and ensure they are sent relevant materials to encourage them to join the association(s).
- Assist with implementation of membership recruitment and retention strategies as needed, including sending emails, letters, or placing calls
- Produce reliable reports and statistics for all members and customers, historical and current, including recruitment and retention demographics.
- Serve as the technical lead of the Associations’ AMS, be a champion of the system, provide support to staff, and serve as trainer to new staff when they onboard.
- Assist in establishing and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Work with membership, events, and education staff to identify, plan, and complete data quality management projects.
- Support the International Offices with membership related projects.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong knowledge and skills relating to the data management systems
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Detail oriented self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
- Team player with proven ability to collaborate with staff on projects
- Proven customer service experience
- Ability to multitask on simultaneous projects while meeting assigned deadlines
- Ability to travel when required
