Tri-County Suburban REALTORS®, a membership organization serving more than 9,500 REALTORS® and affiliate members primarily in the southwestern Philadelphia suburbs, is seeking a Director of Communications to lead all areas of communications (internal with members and external with the general public) for the association.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and maintain the development of new communications strategies, policies, and protocols to advance the Association’s brand identity.
• Provide leadership, expertise, and reporting in all areas of communications (internal and external) in collaboration with management, staff, and volunteers.
• Actively engage, cultivate, and manage press relationships to ensure coverage of the Association’s priorities, special events, and other projects.
• Prepare talking points, speeches, presentations, and other supporting material to advance the objectives and initiatives of the organization.
• Provide administrative functions to research, develop, and execute the Association’s communication and marketing collateral for all programs, classes, products, services, and other membership benefits.
• Design and produce all publications, online collateral, and marketing material in a manner that maintains the brand integrity and supports the strategic plan.
• Create concepts, designs and layouts for print and digital media as needed by the Association, its staff, and all departments.
• Establish communications plan to ensure broad-based and effective promotion of Association’s value proposition.
• Produce insightful market reports to disseminate on a routine basis to membership.
• Maintain Association website to ensure timely updates, relevant messaging, and engaging graphics to foster frequent visits by members and students. Review analytics to optimize the user experience.
• Responsible for both internal and external customer relations with all members, students, vendors, and industry contacts.
• Provide quality customer service to members and students at levels above industry standards on a consistent basis.
• Provide both direction and support to assigned Task Forces, Work Groups, and special projects to successfully reach all objectives identified.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years in related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, graphic design software, marketing/communications software, virtual meeting platforms, and contact management systems.
• Established media relations a plus.
