NBAA is seeking a Manager of Conferences (Meeting Planner) to serve as the primary event lead for the association’s conferences.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage event logistics for NBAA conferences and VIP events!
Collegial work environment in the heart of the nation’s capital
As the Manager of Conferences, you will be responsible for the event strategy and logistics for NBAA’s conferences including managing food and beverage (F&B), general contracting, venues, audio-visual, catering, security, and other event vendors. This position directs VIP program strategy including management of VIP programs at events. The Manager of Conferences is responsible for creating, maintaining, and reconciling the conference budgets with P&Ls of $3+ million, as well as forecasting methodology. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Meetings.
Qualified candidates offer:
Minimum of three years of professional meetings planning experience
Previous experience with budget development and budget management
Some association experience preferred
