Under the supervision of the Director of Public Affairs, the Meeting Planning and Events Administrator is responsible for: (1) providing support with regional meeting planning and event logistics; (2) providing planning and logistics assistance for NATCA’s special events, such as identifying and coordinating with restaurants, hotels, and other event venues; coordinating transportation and registration for identified attendees; coordinating meetings; and coordinating shipments from NATCA’s National Office to event locations; (3) assisting with the coordination of exhibitors and attendees at NATCA’s special events; (4) coordinating designated NATCA event awards, such as ordering awards and certificates; tracking award inventories; coordinating shipping; and working with manufacturers to ensure awards are timely delivered for distribution; (5) assisting in coordinating meet-and-greet events for students at the FAA’s Oklahoma City Training Academy; (6) administering the logistics for specific NATCA training sessions; (7) and performing other related duties. This position requires travel throughout the year.
To qualify for this position, an applicant must possess a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent; have strong organizational and communication skills; and have knowledge of and experience with meeting planning and scheduling.
