The Board of Pharmacy Specialties® was established in 1976 as an autonomous division of the American Pharmacists Association. Today, BPS is the premier post-licensure certification agency worldwide that operates across the pharmacy profession to provide specialty certification of pharmacists. WHAT YOU’LL DO As the BPS Registrar, you will:
Receive, evaluate and enter applications for certification in BPS specialties.
Ensure accuracy of records in BPS database system for all candidates and certified pharmacists
Generate routine and specialized reports in BPS database
Process and respond, as appropriate to telephone calls, facsimile messages, written, and electronic inquiries about BPS, application procedures, etc.
Compose, proof, and distribute technical and informative correspondence to potential candidates, certified pharmacists, Board and Council members, and other constituencies
Organize and maintain files for BPS related to assigned projects.
Serve as the BPS point of contact with the APhA Administrative Services team
Provide administrative support to the BPS Board of Directors and Specialty Councils including but not limited to
Maintaining rosters and email list serves the Board, Councils and Committees
Maintain BPS quality management files and reports needed for NCCA and accreditation
Assist with special projects as needed

You have a college degree or equivalent experience
You have a minimum of two years of administrative or project management experience
You have significant experience with quality management, accreditation and/or certification programs.
You have exemplary attention to detail, and strong customer service skills,
You love to think through all aspects of assigned responsibilities including taking ownership
