Come join the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), an organization dedicated to the non-technical concerns of licensed professional engineers. NSPE is seeking a Vice President of Member & State Engagement to reinforce and strengthen NSPE’s mission and value propositions through member and state engagement, learning, ethics, and professional practice. NSPE offers a hybrid work environment requiring occasional on-site workdays and a comprehensive benefits package, including generous PTO. Candidates in the DC Metro area are strongly preferred but individuals outside of the area will be considered for a remote opportunity.

As the VP of Member & State Engagement, you will execute NSPE’s Strategic Plan related to member engagement, state engagement, learning, and ethics to drive joint value, membership expansion, and revenue growth. You will design and deliver key processes to continuously reinforce and strengthen NSPE’s mission and value propositions for its multiple membership categories and state partners, translating to strong member engagement, overall satisfaction, and retention. This position reports to the Executive Director & CEO.
Qualified candidates offer:
- Bachelor's degree (or equiv. combination of education & experience)
- 10 years of experience in senior-level association management
- Experience in professional membership-based associations
- Understanding of volunteer membership structures
