YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Program Manager provides primary support to the ASIS Foundation, via coordination and partnership with a matrix team of internal staff and the Foundation Board of Trustees and its Committees. Manage the execution of projects, budgets, and activities in support of the Foundation strategic and annual operating plans. Provide executive staff support for the management of regional board activities.
Foundation Board of Trustees – Provide support to the ASIS Foundation Board of Trustees including development of meeting agendas, collection and compilation of data, and the preparation of reports and analysis. Serve as liaison to ASIS headquarters staff to provide access to requested information and resources, including support for the development of the annual Foundation budget in concert with the Finance Team and development and execution of marketing plans in coordination with the Marketing Team.
Scholarship and Grant Programs – Manage the implementation of the ASIS Foundation Scholarship and Grant programs in alignment with, and to meet the goals set forth by, the Scholarship & Grants Committee. Coordinate activities related to the application, review, and selection processes including communication of the programs on the ASIS web site, scheduling of relevant meetings, record maintenance, and dissemination of decision letters.
Research Support – Support the ASIS Foundation’s research agenda by helping to coordinate work between the Foundation Board Research Committee and key internal staff charged with research functions. Provide project management assistance, as needed, to ensure timely completion of research deliverables.
Fundraising – Partner with the Fundraising Committee to develop and execute on action plans created to generate funding from individuals, companies, chapters, and other organization sources to meet annual fundraising goals.
Governance – Provide operational and administrative support for the ASIS Regional Boards, and global and regional board committees as assigned. Manage task related to Board meetings including helping to prepare agendas, scheduling meetings, and coordinating the collection and distribution of various documents and meeting pre-reads. Provide customer service / concierge level support to senior volunteer leaders around the world. Support Global Board of Directors activities, as needed.
Governance – Provide support for the nomination and selection of members to the Global and Regional Boards as well as the Nominating Committee(s). Facilitate the process to solicit and collect call-for-candidate interest forms, including the technical administration of the tool, coordination between staff and volunteers, communication with candidates, and maintenance of records.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree and at least five years’ progressively responsible non-profit experience including working with Boards and other senior volunteer leaders. Direct association management, foundation and/or governance experience is highly desirable.
Advanced project management, planning, and organization skills.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
Highly developed and effective service orientation.
Strong foundation in the use of Office 365. Additional experience/exposure to association management, survey, and/or awards software is a plus.
