The FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. (FBINAA), a non-profit Association, is seeking an experienced, energetic, innovative, and results-oriented MembershipCoordinator. This person is responsible for assisting with all logistics for the Association's membership and may assist in other programs in collaboration with other team members.
Office Duties:
Provide full range of administrative support to the national office for efficient completion of business requirements.
Provide in-person support as the office first point of contact – to answer questions, direct members to services, and general inquiries.
Responsible for developing strong relationships with chapter leaders to ensure chapter business functions and responsibilities are monitored and maintained. This position will maintain accurate rosters in the database, provide support for our chapter leadership, and collaborate with other FBINAA branches.
Membership, Finance Duties:
Manage Membership communications.
Serve as the primary membership liaison; assist members with membership issues and concerns. Respond to, or route to the appropriate individual, all inquiries received via incoming calls or email. Identify trends from membership inquiries received and report to Director of Membership/Retail to help improve membership satisfaction.
Provide Association Membership database support as needed.
Assist in processing membership forms, changes to member and chapter profiles.
Support annual membership invoicing.
Receive and post membership payments via check, credit card, and electronic transfer membership renewals and new application payments. Follow up on unidentifiable payments to ensure accurate accountability.
Handle requests for agency invoices.
Under the supervision of the Director of Membership Engagement/Retail, help support member online & mobile application communities.
Support the Marketing and Communications team with chapter and member information form submissions
Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Assist with student/new member onboarding.
Chapter Support:
Act as main point of contact between Chapter Secretary/Treasurers and the Membership Branch. Provide constant chain of communication and check in.
Provide membership support to FBINAA Chapter leadership as needed.
Oversee annual Chapter Leadership Profile Form submissions and ensure accurate data upload into the database.
Maintain accurate Chapter Events spreadsheet for publication
Ensures Chapter resources are up-to-date and available for our Team, National Board, and Chapter Leadership.
Coordinate chapter dues or changes with the Director of Membership/Retail.
Assist the Director of Membership/Retail in Chapter Association Management database support and Association App training.
Assist the Director of Membership/Retail in the creating, planning, and implementation of chapter-based and national membership retention programs.
Provide Chapters with new member information for each session
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative work.
Problem solver who takes initiative, has a “can-do” attitude.
Excellent computer skills, along with the ability to adapt to changing technologies.
Knowledge of FormStack and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Association Management Software is a plus.
Ability to travel and work flexible/irregular hours as needed.
Ability to multitask while meeting deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
Maintain a high level of integrity, professionalism, & competence.
