NACM’s international association, Finance, Credit & International Business (FCIB), has an interesting position for a dedicated association membership professional who has the skills to strategize, lead, manage, and execute all aspects of its international programs and initiatives. Candidates will have a strong interest in current events, business and economic news that drive the challenges in today’s global business environment. Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain business relationships with FCIB’s global membership.
Identify key member influencers who serve as subject matter experts to the association.
Identify member knowledge and information gaps that drive FCIB programs and initiatives.
Develop and implement strategies to manage and maintain a robust prospective member pipeline.
Work collaboratively with key staff to identify opportunities for enhanced member value, the cornerstone of member recruitment and retention.
Develop and maintain member onboard strategies to create increased member awareness and engagement.
Manage and interpret FCIB surveys that measure global business and economic risk.
Manage FCIB’s discussion board by ensuring all questions are answered either through self-directed research or outreach to key member influencers.
Demonstrated Qualifications:
Genuine interest in world current events.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills: conversational, presentation, and written business communications.
Strong people skills, with a particular talent for problem resolution and working with a wide variety of members.
Willingness to learn about international business credit.
Bachelor’s degree required; some experience in finance or banking preferred.
Data driven, systems thinker with proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive strategies to achieve targeted objectives that meet organizational needs.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, familiarity with association management software (iMIS) a plus.
Travel required: one week each spring within the US and as global conditions improve, travel to Europe once annually.
