PA School District Liquid Asset Fund (PSDLAF) is in search of a qualified, highly-skilled individual to continue the work of the current Executive Director.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director will oversee the strategic and operational efficiencies of the Fund and work in concert with PSDLAF’s Professional Partners and Legal Counsel. This experienced leader must understand the work and mission of PSDLAF and the Fund’s Settlors.
Responsibilities include:
Create business plans for achieving goals and objectives set inA collaboration with the Board of PSDLAF Trustees.
Work with the PSDLAF Settlors, Professional Service Partners (PMA and PNC Bank) and Professional Associations (PSBA and PASBO) to maintain the highest for Fund participants.
Serve as the face of the organization and participate in external events to increase visibility, credibility, market brand, and develop strategic partnerships to further increase community awareness and expand programs.
Build and lead an effective team that’s dedicated to fulfilling PSDLAF’s mission through highly successful programs and school community engagements for the Fund’s Settlors.
Manage relationships with Settlors, Professional Service Partners, School Associations, and Municipal Associations whose experiences, cultures, and languages reflect the education and municipal community served by PSDLAF.
Work closely with the board of trustees and committees to assess and address issues affecting the organization.
Oversee daily operations of the organization, providing executive direction for program strategies and efficiencies, compliance, and quality assurance.
Identify and address requirements for efficient operations, and maintain a strong work culture that attracts and retains partners while driving the organization’s mission.
Increase awareness of the organization by being a spokesperson and liaison with local media when necessary.
Develop annual goals consistent with the Fund’s Strategic Plan.
Insurance compliance with all local, state, and national regulations.
Serve as lead on administrative and customer outreach functions supporting PSBA Insurance and its programs to school entities.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, human resources, or finance.
Proven experience in Strategic Planning and goal management.
Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
Experience in School District and/or Municipal operations and relationships is preferred.
Experience in making arrangements for meetings and virtual sessions
In 1982, PSDLAF (The Fund) was created specifically to assist Local Governments (Schools and Municipal Entities) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to help manage their investment needs.
The Fund provides Local Governments multiple investment programs, in accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Act and has maintained Standard and Poor’s (S&P) highest credit rating of AAAm since the foundation of the Fund.
