The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) works closely with the president and reports to the Board of Directors. The CEO collaborates with the association’s officers, Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and division presidents to formulate goals, objectives, and related policies to advance the interests of the industry. Within that framework, the CEO plans, organizes, coordinates, controls, approves internal operating policies; and directs staff, programs, and activities.

These efforts include a combination of strategic direction; budgeting and financial management, overseeing and managing the work of staff and contracted resources; contributing directly by participating in events, creating content independently and through collaboration with others; and fostering relationships within and outside the industry.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 5 years+ experience in senior level association management or long-term leadership on an industry association Board of Directors.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Legislative and regulatory affairs experience is desirable.
• Ideal candidates will have industry experience and a record of accomplishments.
• A Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation is a plus.
