The Senior Coordinator for Education Programs supports the development, execution and evaluation of the educational programs and resources of the Post-Acute and Long-term Care Medical Association (PALTmed). This role helps sustain PALTmed’s mission to empower compassionate and skilled clinicians to deliver person-centered care in post-acute and long-term care settings by facilitating meaningful member experiences and fostering strategic partnerships.

Education
Edits PALTtalk podcasts and works with Communications Manager to coordinate scheduling
Provides support for learning management system (LMS) users by responding to staff inquiries, troubleshooting user issues, and communicating with the vendor to resolve issues as appropriate
Supports the annual meetings and other virtual events of PALTmed Chapters (session schedule, speaker communication and management, slide collection & review, polling)
Leads the production of PALTmed sponsored webinars, including coordination with the Director of Business Development and the vendor, Zoom set up, and dissemination of final product as appropriate
Continue Education Credits
Collaborates with Education team on the collection, follow-up, and tracking of deliverables associated with accredited education programs
Supports the joint providership program and assists with processing applications
Program and Member Support
Serves as the customer service lead for the department by answering phone calls and emails from members and other stakeholders, and forwarding requests to team members as appropriate
Supports the execution of PALTmed’s virtual education programs
Supports scheduling of committee and workgroup meetings, sending agendas and minutes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least two years’ experience working with association volunteers and committees
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Self-starter who thrives working remotely and independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with or willingness to learn about the learning management system and database management system
