The Digital Platforms Specialist plays a central role in ensuring AACE’s core technology platforms effectively support membership, education, certification, and day-to-day staff operations. This is not a traditional IT position. Instead, it is a coordination and enablement role that bridges people, systems, and processes across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Platform & Systems Coordination
Serve as a primary internal resource for AACE’s Association Management System (Microsoft Dynamics 365), Learning Management System, and certification platform.
Coordinate system configuration, user access, and issue resolution.
Provide first-level support for login and system issues.
Support integrations and documentation.
Education & Learning Enablement
Support LMS delivery and staff adoption.
Translate learning goals into technology solutions.
Website & Digital Support
Maintain and update website content.
Support basic SEO, accessibility, and content governance standards.
Security & Governance Support
Support organizational security initiatives, including user access controls, data handling practices, and vendor coordination.
Continuous Improvement
Recommend technology improvements and develop training guides.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and improve user experience across platforms.
Support staff onboarding and ongoing adoption of digital tools.
This position reports to the Manager, Information Technology; no direct reports.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s or equivalent; 2–4 years experience; systems/platform experience; communication skills; remote work; annual retreat travel.
Preferred: Association experience; SaaS, training or L&D background; Microsoft Dynamics; interest in growth in LMS/education technology.
