Position Overview Provides support to the Association’s Professional Development Department. Responsibilities Coordinate services for meetings and events, such as accommodations for participants, facilities, catering, AV needs, signage, and event security. Manage event activities to ensure the satisfaction of participants and to guarantee the event complies with applicable regulations and laws. Maintain effective working relationships with members to determine event objectives and to accomplish department goals. Negotiate contracts with service providers and suppliers (hotels, convention centers, speakers, etc.) Develop budgets, project revenues and expenses, and control expenditures
